I was on the phone, talking to a customer, trying my hardest to concentrate on the sales deal. My company really depended on the shipments going out on time and at the the agreed upon price. It was hard, though, to keep my mind where it belonged. She was sitting there, across my desk, in that little blue sundress that she knew I liked so much. The impish grin was the devil's own work. I knew this could only end in trouble. I scowled at her when she leaned across the desk and she faked a look of surprise. I wasn't buying, no, not in the least. The deep brown eyes, yeah that kind of brown that you just sort of sink down into and get lost, those brown eyes blinked so sweetly you could hear it. The bambi look she did so well, that look that said 'I'm all sweet an innocent.' She gave me that look and then followed it up with the knockout punch as she whispered into the ear that wasn't attached to the phone. "Corrupt me."
